There are people responsible for the deaths of over 4000 of our soldiers due to poor planning and an improper mindset; people who threw logic and calls for vastly more troops to the wind and throughout this debacle, would let anyone and everyone to the side that didn't kowtow to their mindset.

Since North Carolina Republicans are going to start throwing around ads now criticizing Obama over Rev. Wright, I see no problem throwing around some dirt (well, factual dirt anyways) about Tony Zirkle, a congressional candidate in northern Indiana's 2nd District who apparently has some "questionable associations" of his own...

Tony Zirkle, who is seeking the Republican nomination in northern Indiana's 2nd District, stood in front of a painting of Hitler, next to people wearing swastika armbands and with a swastika flag in the background for the speech to the American National Socialist Workers Party in Chicago on Sunday.

Seeking to explain and defuse the situation, he was then quoted as saying:

"I'll speak before any group that invites me," Zirkle said Monday. "I've spoken on an African-American radio station in Atlanta."

And here's another one of his gems:

The event was not the first time Zirkle has raised controversy on race issues. In March, Zirkle raised the idea of segregating races in separate states. Zirkle said Tuesday he's not advocating segregation, but said desegregation has been a failure.

Kudos to him because, as I'm sure you would react the same as I would, even the mere thought of African-Americans brings forth the same legitimate outrage and anger (for me, anyways) that the Nazis who exterminated 6+ millions Jews during World War II brings up.

Jesus - what a fucking numb-nuts. I mean - I know the Republicans will always try to bring up the KKK-Democrats thing while attempting to project their own socially backwards viewpoints on American culture onto Democrats but...

What's really making me laugh about this entire thing is that it's actually a two-for-1. Not only is there a Republican association with a socialist group, but a Nazi oriented (Hitler, for Christ's sake, HITLER!) socialist group.

Former Cumberland County commissioner Bruce Barclay, (R-PA), that is.

State police say former Cumberland County commissioner Bruce Barclay videotaped hundreds of sexual encounters — many with male escorts — using cameras hidden throughout his Monroe Township home.

Police say the sexual encounters were videotaped without the knowledge of the participants, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed Tuesday with Magisterial District Judge Susan Day. Court documents say cameras were installed in January of 2007.

Investigators are searching items seized from Barclay's residence a second time in relation to a rape investigation.

Reading a prepared statement, Barclay's attorney, Matthew Gover, said although he and Barclay do not agree with everything in the affidavit, “It is clear in my client’s private life he has made an error of judgment. What is striking is this very same lack of judgment exonerates him from a rape allegation that wasn’t going anywhere.”

Gover emphasized the Barclay’s misjudgment never extended into his role as a county commissioner, which he said Barclay “always handled with honor.”

That sounds like enough footage for the first official installment of Republicans Gone Wild.
